BAKED CHEESY GARLIC PRAWNS

This baked cheesy garlic prawn recipe is inspired by a French dish called lobster thermidor. We are using jumbo prawns instead because lobsters are not always available. There are only few ingredients and cooking instructions are made are made simpler for Asian or Italian taste. This seafood recipe is an elegant dish that you can serve it on special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, and even festivities.
Ingredients:
- 4 pieces large Prawns
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1 bulb Garlic
- 1/2 piece red Bell Pepper
- Spring Onions
- 1/2 cup Eden Cheese
- 1/4 cup Breadcrumbs
- Iodized Salt
- Black pepper
- Baking Sheet
- Wax Paper
- Cutting Board
- Knife
- Spoon
- Bowl
Steps:
1. Preheat oven at 375F or 190C.2. Prepare the ingredients.
Put the butter in a small pan and melt under very low heat. Set aside.
Finely chop the garlic, bell pepper and the spring onions. Set aside.
Grate the cheese. Set aside.
3. Prepare the prawns.
Cut the tip of the mouth and the tail. Using the knife, scrape out the tail. Cut it vertically in half, remove the vein and then cut diagonal slits on the meat.
Mix the butter, chopped garlic, chopped bell pepper chopped spring onions, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl.
4. Stuff the prawns.
Place the prawns on a baking sheet. Spoon the garlic butter mixture on top of the prawns. Top with grated cheese and breadcrumbs.
