Fish
- 1 medium Tilapia
- 1 small red onion
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 medium ripe tomato
- 1/2 inch ginger
- salt
- pepper
Dip
- soy sauce
- 1pc. calamansi
Procedure:
- Fish preparation - Make sure the fish is not frozen. Remove the scales of the fish. Make a slit on the side and remove the gills and innards. Chop off the tips of the fins and tail. Rinse well with water to remove the blood.
- Stuffing preparation - Dice the onion, garlic, and tomato. Grate the ginger. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Season the both sides of the fish with salt and pepper. Stuff the fish (head and body) with the mixture.
- Steam for 15-20 minutes in medium heat.
- Serve with cooked rice and calamansi-soy sauce dip.
